GMAT
Review
Many students wonder what they should include in their GMAT
review. The most
“learnable” subject by far is the quantitative section.
Since every answer is essentially some sort of math problem, by
improving math skills you can make your GMAT review more beneficial.
The other sections of the test do not lend themselves so
easily to a traditional GMAT review.
For example, how do you learn reading comprehension or data
analysis? The best thing
you can do is, a few months before the test, start reading highly
technical business publications similar to the sorts of information
you’ll see on the test. The Harvard Business Review may be one of the best resources
to “prep” your mind in a thorough GMAT review.
Also, it’s important to make sure you know about the
specific skills that will be tested.
As part of your GMAT review, be sure and get a good study guide, some practice tests, and a
quiet time each day to spend learning the skills you will need.
You will find that just a bit of time invested in GMAT review
will increase your score more than you thought possible.
You will be glad that you made the effort in your GMAT review to spend an
adequate amount of time to prep for this destiny-changing test.
